Whitesea Shipping & Supply LLC provides marine support to the offshore oil and gas industry. Based in the UAE, the company owns and operates a large fleet of offshore support vessels including Anchor Handling Tug Supply, Dynamic Positioning, Maintenance, Four Point Mooring, Crane and other specialised craft. Whitesea’ currently owns and operates 38 vessels.
After nearly thirty years of contributing to the development of the maritime industry in the Middle East, ‘Whitesea’ has grown to be one of the largest independent ‘owner-operators’ in the oil and gas offshore support sector. This year alone Whitesea has taken delivery of five newly built, highly specified DP 1 AHTS vessels all are operating successfully in the regional market.
In addition to these recent deliveries, Whitesea has just embarked on a new and significant building program of DP2 AHTS and Maintenance Vessels. These innovative and powerful vessels have been designed by a leading designer in consultation with Whitesea so that the vessels not only meet state of the art industry developments, but also draw on Whitesea’s thirty years experience of operating these types of vessels and their analysis of future customers needs.
With its new management structure, the recent delivery of these highly specified vessels and the ongoing extensive building program, Whitesea is realising its vision of becoming ‘the provider of choice for high end offshore services and equipment in the Middle East and wherever a safe and reliable service is required’.
