Seatrade Middle East Maritime is returning for the 5th time to Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre, 26 – 28 October 2010. The 2008 exhibition attracted 313 exhibitors and 6,000 visitors representing 58 countries. The event also featured 8 different country pavilions including three new countries: UK, Singapore and Romania. The exhibition reflects all sectors of maritime industry covering ship equipment manufacturers and suppliers, ship building and repair, navigation and communication, ports and terminal operators, safety equipment and classification societies.

Running alongside the exhibition is a high level conference that provides delegates with a realistic assessment of the state of the industry, an insight into developments taking place in the Middle East, debate on how environmental issues are impact shipping as well as technical and design innovations.

The 2010 event is receiving the full support of the European Marine Equipment Council (EMEC), which represents the European marine equipment industry, consisting of European trade associations from Austria, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Turkey, and the United Kingdom.
