Hind Terminals’ core business activities include Container Terminals, Rail Transport and Container Management.
Hind Terminals operates one of the biggest CFS facilities at Nhava Sheva and Mundra with a capacity to handle 45,000 TEUs /Month at these locations. With a unique feature of its own Rail siding, the CFS at Nhava Sheva is able to provide an array of services to their customers covering Imports, Exports, Domestic & Exim Rail operations, Warehousing, & Transportation. These facilities since commencement of operations have handled a combined volume in excess of 350,000 Teus.
Hind Terminals is the first private rail operator in India to run its 10 owned rakes on Indian Railways rail network. Hind Terminals rail operation provides regular services to various inland locations in North. As a reflection of growing acceptability of the rail vertical, Hind terminals have handled 135,000 Teus since commencement of business in April 2007.
To add value to the rail & CFS activities, Hind Terminals has also set up a full fledged transportation division - Hind Carriers Pvt Ltd. This company focuses on transporting captive loaded and empty containers and operates over 150 Trailers with real time tracking. Hind Carriers handled 507,000 Teus since October 2006.
Hind Terminals is also setting up a Rail linked ICD cum Logistics Park in the outskirts of New Delhi besides ICDs at various locations in India like Pithampur, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Nagpur.
