ENTRY GUIDELINES
- Nomination entries are free of charge.
- Entrants must use the official electronic entry forms that can be downloaded as a MS Word file from the event website www.seatrade-middleeast.com/awards
- All entry forms must be fully completed electronically in English. Please ensure the name of the nominee you have entered is complete and accurate. If the nominee is shortlisted or a winner, the name will be published on the website and in other awards collateral exactly as they appear in the entry form.
- Entries must provide sufficient relevant information to enable the judges to have a clear understanding of the process, product or procedure involved, its merits and resulting benefits. Please refer to the judging criteria outlined for each category in addition to the general criteria.
- Entrants may submit entries in more than one category. However, a separate entry form must be completed for each entry.
- Companies or individuals may nominate themselves or be nominated by third parties.
- Supporting materials like testimonials, certificates, facts and figures may be submitted electronically, with the entry, if they will assist assessment. Such additional material should not total more than 2MB and/or 4 pages.
- On receipt of a submission a confirmation will be sent. If no confirmation is received within fourteen days of submission, please contact Tamanna by email: tamanna@seatrade-middleeast.ae.
- On completion of the judging process the shortlist will be published on the event website.

JUDGING
All submissions will be assessed by an independent judging panel made up internationally recognized and respected industry leaders.
The judges will not assess entries in categories A) Wherein entries are submitted by their company; B) Sponsored by their company and/or C) Relating to their companies’ business portfolio
Entrants will be notified if they make the final shortlist. NO official notification will be sent to the winners.
Winners will only be announced at the awards presentation ceremony on Monday, October 25, 2010. Only winners of the 3 special awards will be informed prior to the awards presentation dinner.
AWARDS PRESENTATION
Shortlisted entrants should ensure that they or their representative(s) are able to attend the ceremony on Monday, October 25, 2010.
Winners will each receive a trophy, specially commissioned by Seatrade. Runners-up will be presented with certificates of commendation. All short-listed companies may use the Seatrade Awards logo on their websites, stationery and publicity material in relation to the subject of the short listed entry.
