The region’s leading shipping event

The maritime market place for the Middle East returns in November!

Seatrade Middle East Maritime Exhibition & Conference returns for the 6th time from 27-29 November 2012.

Since its launch in 2003, the exhibition has gone from strength-to-strength and now attracts more than 7000 participants from 67 countries.

Work is currently underway to finalise the 2012 details with emphasis on the continued growth of the exhibition, coupled with a new-look conference programme. Day 1 will open doors to a high profile opening session with keynote speakers from across the region and internationally and this will lead into 3 days of discussion and debate for the rest of the conference itinerary.

With an Industry Question Time, great networking opportunities and in a region where face-to-face relationship building is key, SMEM continues to provide the platform for the region’s foremost shipping event.

“Hosting Seatrade Middle East Maritime again was a proud moment for Dubai and the UAE whose sea-faring traditions underpin the strong fundamentals of the shipping business in the region. The high quality of the 2010 edition was reflected in the views expressed and shared by the expert delegates as they discussed the state of the industry in the Middle East.  DP World cherishes its participation in this showcase event and will continue to be an active member of the Seatrade community to work towards enhancing regional awareness and maintain our presence as the key player in the UAE’s maritime sector.”

Mohammed Al Muallem, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, DP World, UAE region.
